Hi everyone,
I know that it has been awhile since I have been online and contacted anyone or taken care of my responsibilities as moderator and I apologize for that but it seems that ever since my dad died I haven't been able to get into the frame of mind needed to do the job as diligently as I used to. And it seems that by the time I motivate participation and schedule scenes my brain is so burned out that I can't get into the proper frame of mind to be creative. And because of that the group has suffered (as has the game). Again....I apologize. It seems as though most everyone has lost interest anyway as I was absent from the Internet for 3 + weeks and no one seemed to notice as I had no emails asking where I was. I blame myself and my lack of leadership for that. I still (and always will) feel that Seacouver Playground is (or was) my baby and I still believe that it can remain an active and successful RPG. Therefore.....in the hopes that a change in leadership might resuscitate it....rejuvenate it....I am resigning as its moderator. If Carole (being the assistant moderator) wants to keep it running (either by moderating it herself or handing the reigns over to someone else)....and if my characters, Cara or Liam, are needed or even wanted I will stay on as just a player and keep her/him/them active as I would miss role playing as a creative outlet. But if not....then sé' la vi (or how ever you spell it). Again I apologize for letting everyone down. I hope Seacouver Playground doesn't die but if it does....again....sé' la vi. I will continue to pay the monthly server fee of $4.99 for the Sandbox (chatroom) until January 2009 just in case. And Ken....go ahead and forget about the website. I want everyone to know that I have had a blast serving as your moderator and role playing with everyone for the past 3 years. I learned a lot from each of you and I met some incredible people and even made some lasting friendships. No matter what happens with the game....I will never forget this experience or any of you who shared it with me. Thank you so much. I'll still be around cyberspace (probably go back to writing unfinished fan-fics) so...no matter what.....drop me a line from time to time. I love you all and I'll miss you (should SP die). Again....I apologize. Just remember.......WATCH YOUR HEADS as the alternative is unthinkable.
